4b. FSBK source — sprint-race live timing
What is the FSBK source?
In addition to the EWC live timing (endurance, via API key), OHP Apex can connect to the FSBK live timing — the French Superbike championship and sprint races timed by the Chronelec system (fsbk.fr/chrono). No API key is required: OHP Apex pulls the live classification directly (refreshed ~10 s).
Info
Requirements: an active network connection. Nothing else — no API key, no event/session selection.
Step 1 — Select the FSBK source
- Open Settings (⚙️).
- Under “Live timing source”, choose “FSBK — live timing (fsbk.fr)”.
- Click “Save”. The interface adapts automatically (see below).
Tip
Streamlined UI in FSBK mode: only the Race space stays visible (no Dashboard or Stock), and the analysis section is limited to the tabs useful for sprint races: Best sectors and Rider times. Switch the source back to EWC to restore all features.
Step 2 — Start Live
- Click “● Live”. OHP Apex loads the live classification from fsbk.fr — no need to pick an event or session.
- The classification fills in (positions, number, rider, gaps, best lap, S1/S2/S3 sectors) and refreshes every ~10 s. Race-control messages are shown too. All bikes are selected automatically to feed the analysis tabs.
- Click “● Live” again to stop.
Practice, qualifying, race
The session type is detected automatically from the title shown at the top of the live timing (Practice, Qualifying, Superpole, Warm-up, Race…). In practice/qualifying the classification is sorted by best lap; in the race, by position/laps.
Info
Lap & sector reconstruction: the FSBK feed only provides a snapshot of the classification. OHP Apex rebuilds lap history by comparing successive snapshots, and keeps a lap's S1/S2/S3 sectors only when they are consistent (S1+S2+S3 = last lap). Not available on this feed: pit stops, tyres, top speed. In sprint racing, one rider per bike.
