Installation

Windows Installation

Info

Requirements: Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit). No additional dependency installation is required.

Procedure

  1. Download the file OHP-Apex-vX.X.X-windows-setup.exe.
  2. Double-click the downloaded file to launch the installer.
  3. If Windows SmartScreen shows an "Unknown application" warning, click More info then Run anyway.
  4. Follow the installer steps (installation folder, desktop shortcut).
  5. Launch OHP Apex from the Desktop or Start menu.

SmartScreen: This warning appears because the application is not yet certified by a Microsoft signing certificate. It is safe — only the paid certificate (~100–400 €/year) would make this message disappear.

macOS Installation — First Launch

Warning

Unsigned application — expected behaviour. The .dmg file is compiled without an Apple Developer certificate. macOS displays a Gatekeeper warning on first launch: "OHP Apex cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer". This message is normal and harmless.

Procedure

  1. Download the file OHP-Apex-vX.X.X-macos.dmg.
  2. Double-click the .dmg to mount the disk image.
  3. Drag OHP Apex into the Applications folder.
  4. In Finder, open Applications, then right-click (or Ctrl+click) on OHP Apex.
  5. Choose Open from the context menu.
  6. A dialog box appears: click Open again. The application launches.
  7. Subsequent launches work normally, without confirmation.

Alternative: If the right-click method does not work, open System Settings → Privacy & Security. A message "OHP Apex was blocked" appears with an Open Anyway button.
